We hiked up House Mountain State Park today, everyone had a great time. I has to talk some sense into everyone that it was 5pm and would be dark soon so we HAD to turn back and head home!! The kids (who are afraid in their own front yard in the dark) were so mad I made us leave, I kept telling them "Do you realize how dark it is going to be on this mountain once the sun goes down?" Reluctantly we headed back down the mountain and thankfully made it down in plenty of time.
