Finally a teacher!!

I received a call on Sunday night for an interview on Monday.... Monday I interviewed and then got the call offering the job on Monday afternoon.... who would have known after all the time I waited to become a teacher it would all happen so fast!!

First Real Snow of this School Year

We all had a snow day today! The kids were actually out of school for two days last week because of snow, but it wasn't a good amount of snow like today. When Knox County Schools are out you know there is a lot of snow!!

Dallas loved the snow... She ran around biting the snow.

Tiffany's 9th Birthday

Tiffany decided she wanted a "jungle" cake. I found her some jungle animals and she is decorating it herself.

She was very careful decorating her cake!

Family Visit

Aunt Dawn, Uncle Doug, Emory, and Lance came for a visit this week. We played at the park, creek, water fountains, and spent the last evening at Chuckie Cheese. Everyone had a great time and we look forward to camping in the very near future.

Pinning Ceremony

The pinning ceremony turned out pretty nice even with the horrible speaking part!! I am glad I did it and have to imagine it is good experience...

We received the invitation to the teacher induction pinning ceremony today.

Today was my last day of student teaching!! I have a large part of my life back....

It's Cookie Time

Tiffany did her Girl Scout duty and manned the cookie booth from 11 to 1 today at IGA!
