Knoxville Art Museum

My art appreciation class required me to go to an art museum and choose a piece of art to write a paper on. Unfortunately I could not take any pictures throughout the museum, especially since the museum curator was not leaving us alone for a second. I think he was worried about the kids touching or knocking down something.

When we arrived in the "kids" area, I took a chance and took a picture up them playing with the huge light bright board.

This is the picture I choose to write about, the painting is called "A Type of Dissociation" by Andrew Sendor. The artist likes to do supernatural artwork, if you look carefully at the painting you will notice a "ghost" child's feet reflected in the puddle on the sidewalk. I love this piece and most importantly I got an "A" on the writing assignment!!
